These new Redmi smartphones are Xiaomi’s first smartphones to implement the pop-up selfie camera setup. Like the Pro variant, the K20 also has a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen and a similar triple camera configuration. This is the second smartphone brand-new from Redmi free from notches or punch-hole. The K20 has a 20MP pop-up selfie camera models that slide up when needed. Both of these handsets, the K20 have also been provided with a fingerprint scanner integrated on the screen. In terms of the processor, it relies on the Snapdragon 730 chipset with a 2.2 GHz octa-core, and the AnTuTu benchmark score is 218,625. The RAM capacity offered is 6GB and 8GB, with a choice of 64GB and 128GB storage media. Another difference between the two Redmi smartphones is found in 4K video recording capability with a frame rate of up to 30 FPS in Redmi K20. Meanwhile, the Redmi K20 Pro is capable of 4K 60 FPS video recording. For the battery, it is powered by the same capacity as the pro version, which is equal to 4000mAh. It’s just that the charging speed is slower, which is 18 watts compared to 27-watt on the pro version. Xiaomi delivers the Redmi K20 out-of-the-box with MIUI 10, Xiaomi’s variant of Android 9 Pie.
