Xiaomi Mi Play Quick Review
Xiaomi Mi Play doesn’t deliver the iPhone X-esque notch that disturbed 2018, instead, it comes with the dewdrop notch. Dewdrop, teardrop or Infinity-O notch, any of these three terms describe it perfectly. So, don’t get it all messed up in your mind. You can play around with as much as 80.1% ratio of the phone’s 5.84-inch panel. The visuals are exceptional given the 1080 x 2280 pixels quality. And that’s not all, extras such as 432PPI density and 19:9 aspect ratio spice it up. Multitasking and running of apps are on a different level because the MediaTek Helio P35 is very reliable. It’s already nice that this octa-core chipset is 12nm-built, but the 4GB RAM addition just makes the sparks fly. The memory unit is rounded up by 64GB increasable memory. Graphics outlay is well handled by PowerVR GE8320. A very modest smartphone lifestyle is laid out by the 3,000mAh battery. For heavy smartphone users, the consolation is that Fast Charging 5V/2A technology makes the battery charge like Flash the superhero. Fun fact: It runs on the latest Android OS – Android 9.0 Pie… What’s a 21st-century smartphone without cameras? I can’t even call it a feature phone because feature phones have cameras no matter how little the resolution is. The good thing about Mi Play is that is sports two cameras on its rear – a 12MP primary sensor and 2MP for background isolation. Selfie folks can take refuge in the 8MP front camera.
