Airtel Nigeria has just released new cheap data bundles to help her subscribers enjoy better data value for money this ember month. Now, with just N100 Naira, you will get 200MB data which lasts for 3 days. With N200 Naira, you will get 1GB data that lasts for one week (7 days), N500 for 2GB which lasts for two weeks (14 days) while with N1000 Naira you will get a whopping 4GB worth of data which lasts for one month (30 days). One interesting thing about this new cheap data packages from Airtel NG is that it works on all devices and at all time. This means whether you are using an Android phone or an iOS device, you will be able to use the data. Also, you can use it both day time and night so there is no limit on how you can use the data. It’s a universal and official internet data from Airtel to her Nigerian customers. Remember that on a normal day, Airtel monthly plan of 1000 Naira gives you just 1.5GB worth of data unless you are enjoying Airtel new smartphone 100% data bonus which gives double data of your subscription. Yet it’s still not better than this recent offer as you will get a massive 4GB data for N1000 which is more than the 3GB for N1000 you get from data bonus. See screenshots below.
If you have enough airtime on your SIM for the plan you are activating, it will get activated and you can use it to browse the internet. It looks like it’s SIM selective but from my observation so far, 80% of Airtel subscribers in Nigeria are eligible for the offer. To know if your Airtel SIM is eligible for this offer, dial 141241# and select “1” when you have less than N100 airtime on your SIM. If you receive a message about insufficient airtime, then you are eligible but if otherwise, your SIM is not eligible for the offer. Kindly try another SIM. However, one thing that is still unclear is if this plan is temporary or permanent. So for now that it’s still available, make due with the opportunity to get higher data volume at cheap price.
