Citing PhoneArena, a company called China 8848 announced it would produce the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 865 chipset, called Titanium M6. The smartphone will reportedly also support fifth-generation network technology (5G). Titanium M6 will have a 6.1-inch widescreen with AMOLED panel. In the internal sector, besides being powered by Snapdragon 865, this smartphone will carry 12GB of RAM with 1TB of internal storage capacity. In the camera sector, Titanium M6 will carry a 64MP camera that can take images up to 100MP through interpolation technology. This smartphone will not bring a digital assistant from Google, but instead uses a homemade digital assistant called Live Assistants. Snapdragon 865 will be produced with a 7nm fabrication process. This chipset is claimed to be faster but more energy-efficient than its predecessor, the Snapdragon 855. Qualcomm also hasn’t revealed much about the specifications and capabilities of the next flagship-class chipset made by them. Throughout 2019, Qualcomm has also introduced a number of newer chipsets from several different classes, such as Snapdragon 665, Snapdragon 730, Snapdragon 730G, to Snapdragon 855 with 5G network capability. Snapdragon 865 itself will be included in the ranks of chipsets that will be pinned on high-end smartphones.
