The blessings of gloss & patterned matte finish were showered on the HTC Desire 12s. And trust me, the device is easy on the eye. The glossy finish took the top arena of the phone’s rear while the patterned design enjoyed the remaining portion. In the glossy area, you’re greeted with the primary camera, LED flash and fingerprint reader. On the other hand, the HTC logo gives you the intro to the line-full region. Up front, the Full View Display (18:9) makes an impact on the 5.7-inch IPS screen. An HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels teams up with a pixel density of 282PPI to dictate the screen’s sharpness & finesse. The top & bottom of the IPS panel is characterised by minimal bezels. Since HTC is also one of the Android fanboys, the OEM applied the Android 8.1 Oreo OS on this smartphone. Instead of using MediaTek chipset, the Taiwanese manufacturer opted for Snapdragon SoC. The model of this chipset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435, a chipset built on 28nm process. Despite the agedness of the chipset, it still carries an octa-core processor that clocks at 1.4GHz. What’s more, a 4GB RAM works alongside the chip for efficient multitasking. It is worthy of note that there’s a 3GB RAM iteration of the smartphone. The lower RAM variant tags along with 32GB ROM while the higher variant is supported with 64GB storage. Anyways, both smartphone’s storage can be increased to 512GB using a MicroSD card. Picture-perfect moments have the tendency to be captured by either the 13MP rear shooter or 13MP selfie camera. Finally, the phone gets its power juice from a modest 3,075mAh battery.
